Module EC-24
Electronic Product and Circuit Board Design
Turning a working idea into a board somebody else can manufacture, and then into a product that survives being sold. Capture and part selection, reading a data sheet as a buyer rather than a student, the supply and ground structure that decides how much of the rest will work, the stack-up and the routing, the two integrity problems that only appear at speed, emission and immunity, heat, the design choices that make a board cheap to build and possible to test, and the bring-up that finds out what you got wrong.
