10.3 The Telugu opening: Annamacharya and Tyagaraja

A very large part of this repertoire is in Telugu — Annamacharya in the fifteenth century, Tyagaraja in the eighteenth and nineteenth. If Telugu is your language, this is the point where the words stop being sounds; if it is not, the transliteration and the gloss are always there.
