You can choose the right entry certification and prepare without buying anything.

The three entry certifications — AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Digital Leader — cover similar ground with different accents, and this topic maps scope, format and the free official study paths so preparation costs time rather than money. It sits at the end because the course content is the preparation. The deciding question is honestly framed: whether the exam is worth it for you, given that a certificate opens some doors and a portfolio opens others, and the strongest position is holding both.

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) — scope and format
The entry-level certification for the largest provider covers concepts, services and billing rather than hands-on configuration. Knowing its scope tells you whether it matches what you have learned here.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) · ReferenceMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) — scope and format
The equivalent entry certification for Microsoft's cloud covers the same ground in that provider's vocabulary. Comparing the two syllabuses is a quick way to see how much is genuinely provider-specific.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) · ReferenceGoogle Cloud Digital Leader — scope and format
Google's entry certification is aimed at understanding and communicating cloud value rather than at configuration. It suits a different reader, and knowing which reader is you is the point.

The official study material for all of these is free, and the honest question is whether the certificate helps you specifically. For some students it opens a filter in hiring; for others the projects do more.
